Can't Work

We didn't have a shop at the house when we moved to the beach so we are building this timber frame shop. The problem is I don't think I'll be able to get much work done with a view like this.....
We just put the windows and doors in yesterday and the siding is going on Saturday. I'll post more pictures after the siding is on.

Great View....I'm jealous...YOU BOTH SUCK. Will you please adopt me?

Wonder if their's any "nice figure" in that palm tree...

That view will be great during coffee breaks But you'll be taking too many breaks.

Good Luck in your new digs.

Re: Can't Work

You can see the water from the back of the store too....what a shame....Sharon's out in the parking lot now doing a turning demo, trying to drum up some business....
I wondered that about the palms too so last fall I went to the place where I bought my trees and asked them if I could cut up one of the dead ones. The guy looked at us like we were crazy but he said yes. We took the chain saw and tried to cut into it but it was real stringy and kinda mushy. Maybe it was just a bad tree, has anyone out there ever cut one of these east coast palms?

Re: Can't Work

Awesome view. Large windows were a great decision (except that it may lower productivity...)

Re: Can't Work

Yeah, I really can't wait to get it set up, right now all my tools are stuffed on the porch. The view we have is of Bogue Sound (the beach is across the street). I like the sound better, the water's not as rough as the beach and my dogs like to play in the shallow water.
At least the view of the cell tower paid me good money....I have to pay for the water view!
