Was in Lowes at Maynard Rd and Hwy 54 today. The gas heaters are marked WAY down. A five brick, infrared, natural gas heater (30,000 BTU) , originally $299, now less than $70. Not all stores stock propane models, so check around. Other models at similar savings. Located by contractor's check out. | | Views: 466 | |

Cary stores are generally natural only, while Garner store (six miles and several zip codes away) stocks both. Other, more rural Garner store only has propane. The lowes on Hwy 70 in hickory had them for just half price, and i only saw natural gas. | |

Lowes in Apex has them 25% off original price, Kerosene and Propane ones, and then Home depot is not doing anything in Apex or Fuquay :-/
Going to stop by a couple more Lowes' in Cary tonight to try and find a better deal. | |

Our Lowe's in Hendersonville had all of them marked down by 50%, but some already had a reduced price tag. I did not find any 30KBTU units (propane or NG) for under $70 though...
