multi-spindle line borer - unlikely in 2008
pocket hole machine - unlikely in 2008
Festool sander and vacuum -told I don't need 2 not going to happen
Edge bander - unlikely this decade
oscillating edge sander - unlikely in 2008
floor model chisel or slot mortiser - unlikely in 2008
and a bigger shop - maybe in 2009

Hey, I never said it was cheap. The Kapex is the most over priced miter saw on the market ... but it's from Festool, it must be nice!
I think I 'used' one should go for around $900-$1000, so this one isn't really a good price ... but it's there.

I totally agree, they are VERY NICE, but very expensive. As commented, the price is ok, not great, but for the most part, Festool stuff holds its value very very well.
I wouldn't mind having one, and will probably get one at some point  , I just can't do it now.
LOML reminded me today of what all I had bought this year.
