I got the ad too but was thinking ... is that really a good price? That is the smaller saw and to say anyone would have ever paid $2,000 for it was a stretch I think (you can get the 3HP Jet w/ the router table on the side for about that price!) ... advertising, itn't it amazing?
Although this seems like a good price, I agree with Jeremy that the savings is a bit of a stretch. I would be hard pressed to choose this saw over the granite topped Ridgid although this one does have some more bells and whistles. They do have some other machines on sale such as a jointer.
