#1 | | HD $25-$300 off on Power Tools Name: Brian City: Raleigh State: NC County: Wake Join Date: Jun 2008 Age: 41 04-30-2009, 02:04 PM
Was in the Strickland Rd HD today looking for pocket screws, which by the way they don't seem to carry or at least no one knows what or where they are, and they're running the following promotion.
Rebates of $25-300 bones isn't too shabby if you're already looking to pick up something and ever better it's instant and not mail in!!!
HTH,
Brian.

I think i've seen them there, at least at Lowes.

I finally located the jig kits next to the biscuits and what not in the tool section, but no screws were to be had. The guy told me I could just buy one of the kits that came with screws!!

Good enough I didn't even think about looking at either of the BORG.
Now, if I could just convince the Garner HD to take a extra $300 off the marked down ($399) Ridgid table saw I'd be onto something!

The BORG has a few packages of pocket screws in the tool section but they are kind of iffy looking. As I recall Lowes and Sears stock the genyouwine Kreg screws. The BORG was plastered with the instant rebate signs and the new granite topped Rigid tablesaw was tempting when you deduct $75. Unfortunately I need to raise some capital before I consider a purchase. Anyone in the market for a used Skil or Craftsman tablesaw ? My shop is already jam packed and methinks adding a third 6 foot wide tablesaw would not help things. .gif)

Glen, does your HD have a granite tablesaw assembled or just one in the box? If they have an assembled one what do you think of it after seeing it in person?
Brian.

It seems a few folks over on the Ridgid forum have been getting the R4511 granite tablesaw and a $1.xx package of Porter Cable nails to get from the $75 discount to the $150 discount. Pretty slick huh?
Brian.

Brian. The saw was assembled with the exception of the dust chute and in physical appearance and construction matches the reviews I have read. Brian. Enabler!!!!! that is indeed pretty slick and changes my financial decision making somewhat. The store was slick and changed the saw price on the display to reflect the price after rebate so big dummies like me would not think to combine purchases to break the magic $600 mark for the additional rebate. Thanks for passing the tip along Brian
