Looks like a nice saw overall. It's a shame that a big saw like that with a 3 hp motor only has 9-3/4" resaw capacity... I wonder why?

I think this saw is destined for the "Discontinued" bin -- Grizzly has better and newer saws in the same size category.

Most likely frame stiffness won't handle additional height would be my best guess. I am with Rob, probably destined to be discontinued, but still a good buy if it is what someone is looking for.
