Older wood Lathe FREE. I hate to see it go, but need the space in my garage. Since I got it from CL for free, and have not had the chance to do what I wanted to with it, I can't in good conscience sell it - it has to go back on CL for free.
This is an older wood lathe that has had some repairs to it. The lathe is still operable, but one of the cast iron legs was broken and repaired with an oak beam. It could be removed from the legs and used on a benchtop. The bed of this lathe is a heavy duty steel bed that you won't find on any modern wood lathe. You could in fact easily convert it to a metal lathe, which is what I wanted to do...
Approx. 7" dia X 48"L capacity.
This lathe is extremely heavy and you will need a truck and perhaps a friend to move it. I will reply in order of receipt and remove when gone.
Pickup pending....
