FWIW: I received the Garrett Wade catalofg the other day and they seem to have some discounts on Festool items. There prices are HIGH to begin with, but they are never on sale. Example: C12 - 12V Drill with four chucks $460.00. (Normally $537.00).

Re: Festool Sale?

ooooohhhhh...a bargain ! It's still waaaaaaaay to rich for my blood. Maybe if I hit the lottery, nah I still don't think so. Too many problems for me, starting with the prices and going on to the not conventional size accessories. If I had extra money to burn I would think Lie-Nielsen, Auriou and just about everything from Lee Valley.

But I do have to say that it is surprising that good prices are comung from Garrett Wade, usually the just have good products.

Re: Festool Sale?

They are pulling a fast one. This is the standard price for that bundle. every Festool dealer who carries that package has the same price. The price they are quoting is the price if you bought each item seperately.

Re: Festool Sale?

Thanks Steve. That is why I put the "?" at the end of the title. I couldn't see how they could get away with a deal when Festool contols the pricing like something out of 1984.

Re: Festool Sale?

What I think is _really_ scary is that Steve knows the regular bundle price AND the price of the individual components for Festool!

Then again, I know the regular- and coupon prices for most Harbor Freight items....
