I have Festool (used and new), and although I stay in sticker shock, the quality, service and support are second to none. I only have one negative other than cost. They don't take standard bits in the drills.
Otherwise, they are outstanding. I just got a used Festool drill and a new Makita 18V Lithium. The Festool being 12 volts still out lasts and has more torque than the Makita.
