Saw this on another website so I cannot verify but it has been coming down in the past few weeks as Lowes is closing it out. Might be worth checking your Lowes if you need an inexpensive D/CoLLECTOR.

yes lowes is getting them out. i bought one sat for $99.00 was $269.00 at local lowes.

Enablers. I picked on up for $100. Had to call a few stores. Some were marking them down to $199 and others had none left. The Indian trail store had at least the floor model still there when I left.

I took your receipt and found the only store in the Memphis area that still had one, a demo on the floor. After driving 30 miles there the manager on duty refused to mark it down from the tagged $199.99, despite the fact that the store I had just come from had sold their last two for $49.99.

I guess I should have checked their policies about price matching and customer satisfaction...

JUST GOT MINE IN KINSTON, NC THE LAST THEY HAD $49.99. LOWES IS DISCONTINUEING THIS NATIONWIDE. WHEN YOU CHECK YOUR STORE, IT SAYS NON-STOCK BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT S TOCKING IT ANYMORE. USE LOWES STOCK NUMBER 28247 AND ASK YOUR STORE TO TELL YOU WHAT STORES STILL HAVE STOCK. THEY CAN DO THAT. THAT IS WHAT I DID. THEN CALL THE STORE AND ASK FOR THE MANAGER AND TELL HIM THAT ALL YOUR BUDDIES IN NC, SC, TN ARE BUYING FOR 449.99 and will they match. i did and he did. THE LIST PRICE FOR THIS DUST COLLECTOR IS $522.00 LOWES HAD IT MARKED DOWN TO $99.00. CALL BEFORE YOU GO. YOU MAY HAVE TO DRIVE. I HAVE A LOCAL LOWES STORE BUT HAD TO DRIVE 20 MILES TO GET MINE.

NOW I WANT TO FIND A LAST YEARS MODEL UNISAW FOR $ 200.00 AND I WILL THINK I AM IN HEAVEN.

You did great on that buy! I checked around here, a couple stores were sold out, a couple wouldn't budge off the $199 Clearance price. Finally got one at a town nearby for $99.99. Felt like I still got a deal! You got a steal! Can't seem to find the elusive $53.60.

WOO-HOO!! Just bought a tube of super glue for $102.50... at least, that's how I explained to the LOML - stopped in Lowe's (Battleground location in Greensboro) for some glue to repair my son's water pistol en route to a pool party, and parked outside in a batch of clearance stuff for the advertised Sidewalk Sale is one of these Delta DCs marked down from $269 to $199 - I spent a few minutes talking to staff, found the guy in charge and mentioned the deals discussed on this thread w-other NC Lowe's stores, and without looking online he was quick to lower to $95 for the dust collector [even mentioned possibly a lower price Sunday AM if it were still left, but I figured I was already pushing my luck].
As a bonus, the $2.97 super glue rang up at ~$1.50 for some reason!

I got to buy 2 of these today. Paid 99.99 + tax for them each.. If any one wants one for that price let me know before tomorrow. And remember where I live. between boone and ashville as the crow flies.

I bought the last boxed one in Mebane today for $99. They had one display left at 2:30pm today. Roxboro Road in Durham also had one display left also for $99.

Found one in the Statesville store and had it held for me. When I went to the counter I asked what the best price they could do was.... the reply... "it's already at $49.80"

So I'm one of the lucky ones that got the original post price of $53.60 out the door.

Thank you, Tommy - I emailed corporate about the stores failure to price match the receipt on Friday and another manager called yesterday to tell me he was holding the collector (again) and would now match the $43.80.

I hope I don't make another sixty mile trip in vain...
