There is a 12" Belsaw planer and a 12" craftsman joiner for $100 each, listed on the Charlotte CL (items in Mathews). I don't know anything about them, except it could possibly be a good deal even if they're older stuff, providing you have a way to move them. http://charlotte.craigslist.org/tls/201521343.html

Belsaw has been around for a long time, but I have no personal experience with them...

Additional Info: Back in the 20's, Belsaw made a combination "One-man Planing Mill" seen here: http://www.owwm.com/PhotoIndex/detail.asp?id=1666
In addition, Belsaw did make a 12" planer for Sears (Model numbers 306.xxxx) and that may be what is listed. Here is a picture and info on the 12" Belsaw Model 905 planer from the 1950's: http://www.owwm.com/PhotoIndex/detail.asp?id=3690

"The item is a Craftsman 6" Jointer model # 103.23320. I just downloaded the owner's manual and discovered my typing error. Sorry for the confusion
Still might not be a bad deal for 100 bucks. |

Sears parts online reports that parts are no longer available for this model. http://www.owwm.com/files/PDF/Craftsman/103-23320.pdf

It was also a molding plane, as you could put molding bits in place of the planer blades. Had quite a variety. It also could be used as a drum sander, replacing the cutter head with a sanding head. had a 5 hp motor on mine - pulled 26 amps - but it was a very nice machine. I never had a problem with snipe.
But as has already been said, they are no longer made and Belsaw sold out to another company several years ago.
Still, $100 is not a bad deal at all.
