Wood sample set for the Schuylkill center in Pennsylvania

Here is an educational lumber set I just completed for the Schuylkill Center for environmental education in Philly. I included a set of 12 common native species along with the latin name so students can see what the inside of tree looks like and its even better since I sawed and dried the wood too!

Very cool thing to do. What are all the wood types you included, there are a few that I don't recognise?

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

Holy Cow! Enlarge that photo and you'll see that Kyle must have 1,000 pen blanks sitting under those samples!~! You've obviously been busy cutting...and organizing them in such a nice pattern!

What a great educational gift! Please do list the names of the wood and I'll enlarge the picture and keep as a reference myself!
