Re: Raleigh Lumber Run #2 - May/31/08

I saw the pictures from your other posting. Makes sense now as to color. Put me down for 200 BF of maple if it is soft maple as hard has to come from up north right?

Check and thanks - I'll go ahead and add you into the first post of this thread but looks like Mike took the remainder of the QSWO

Thanks Travis - Yes you are right it's Red Maple / Soft Maple - I try and not saw any Silver Maple to sell but, will saw it if a customer brings me their logs - Silver maple don't make very good lumber.

Check the first post of this thread - thanks again

Dick and I will be there...same place as all the others? What time does it start? I'll probably take left overs and scrape if there is any.

Rita - how much of that blue stained pine are you looking for? I can't promise you anything - but I may have some in the top rack of my lumber rack - if I do it was sawed @ 1" thick and will be good and dry - it's been up there since that big ice storm like 5 years ago.

Thanks

Re: Raleigh Lumber Run #2 - May/31/08

I'll be going through the shop this week while loading out the trailer for the lumber run this coming Saturday. I cant remember what's back there deep in back of the shop but I can see lumber stacked up back there. I just have to work my way to it is all... When I get to it - I'll be posting odds and ends stuff, I'm sure. What's that game scavenger hunt? - that's what I'm feeling like right about now. I'm such a freaking pack rat...

Jeff,

Nick is riding with me so leave room for some of those big bowl blanks he wanted.

Hopefully I'll be in a position to pick up a few extras.

I'm hoping the time will be around 11am, like the last one....if not, there's beers and burgers nearby to pass the time 'til one pm.

Hey Jeff?

Is it 11:00 am or 1:00 pm?

Inquiring minds want to know. And we have to make plans.
