Scott thanks I think that board is 4/4 x 24" x 12' long. So it should have stuck out like a sore thumb amongst the 8'ers . I'm sure Mr. Duster will get something out of it. He likes them wide boards, so I figured I would try and hook him up - I hope it works out that way.
I really appreciate you taking on the lumber to dry - I know you guys are very busy out there. Seemed like a swarm of bees every time I brought a load out.
Thanks Again

Re: Potential Raleigh Oak Lumber Run.
I've had several people PM me about lumber pickup. Seems many want to pick up at Scott's when the kiln doors open (mmm... fresh kiln dried warm lumber ). I usually load up from Scott's and run up to harbor freight for what's been coined a lumber run . Now I'm starting to wonder if it might be better to have a lumber run at Scott's instead? There is a whole bunch of lumber, Jim (Member Insteadof) gets his 500 BF which is already marked with red spray paint on the end of his boards. Jims goes on my trailer so I can take back to him.
I talked with Scott he says it's ok to have a lumber run out at his place as long as it's on a Saturday. I'm game either way and will be coming back up through Raleigh on my way home anyways.
For those of you who have confirmed your 4/4 RO - Please reply with your preference:
#1 Scott's place in New Hill
#2 Harbor Freight off of Capital BLVD in Raleigh.
Thanks

Re: Potential Raleigh Oak Lumber Run.
Either way will work for me. Scott's farm is much nicer than the HF parking lot
It could be less work for you Jeff... you wouldn't have to load your trailer with as much

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

Re: Potential Raleigh Oak Lumber Run.
Either way is fine. Distance wise it makes no difference to me. Less wood hauling for you at Scott's place.

Re: Potential Raleigh Oak Lumber Run.
I didn't ask for any lumber. However, because I live much much closer to Scott than HF, I will probably show up and pick from any leftovers.

Re: Potential Raleigh Oak Lumber Run.
No problem here. It would save you from having to load it up again on your trailer.
Then take it to HF even if you have to drive by there on the way home. It still would save you time.

Re: Potential Raleigh Oak Lumber Run.
Why handle three times when once will do? Another vote for Scott's. My order is re-confirmed.

Re: Potential Raleigh Oak Lumber Run.
Either one works for me as well, but I'll vote for Scott's. That way I can see how far he's progressed on his recovery from the fire.
My order is also re-confirmed, and I will probably stick around and pick through any left-overs also.
Regards,
Mike

Scott's sounds like the easier route, I'm flexible though. Oh, and I re-confirm. Thanks again Jeff.
