Re: Poop Tree
k...back on topic here...
Ironically, I was reading in a ww book I have and came across a sentence that described Elm as having a smell of a barnyard...hmm. I wasn't even looking for it, so you are not the only one, it seems, who has a distaste for the smell. OK..so maybe I'm jumping to conclusions here that you don't like it, but...

That's pretty funny. I haven't done any research yet ... but it kinda feels better knowing it might just be a smell and not the real thing!

Re: Poop Tree
I believe I saw a TOH episode where they had planted some Elms that were resistant to the disease. I believe they were over 90 percent resistant IIRC.

Thanks for letting me unload. I feel better now that I've taken my medication.

Hey Jim,
Are you telling us that 'completely destroyed' would be repetitively redundant?

Re: Poop Tree
Jeremy American Elm can't be all that bad... Try a little tree of heaven, why it's called tree of heaven I don't know. It smells like something that came out the rear end of a possum and is so powerful the stench it'll will knock you over. Anyways I'm curious what your going to build out of the American elm, what are you going to build anyways?
