Re: Pine Price
Wow, that's an interesting inquiry. I've only seen Araucaria heterophylla - Norfolk Pine available as turning blanks. All my research has led me to believe that it is rather rare in a size large enough to make lumber in this part of the world. It seems like it can be found often in Hawaii, but not to often in board form much.
What do you want it for, and could you substitute another wood with similar properties?

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

Re: Pine Price
Frank -- I'm afraid I can't help you with the Norfolk Pine, but please be sure to post a thread to introduce yourself in the Who We Are forum -- that way, we can all welcome you to the NCWoodworker.net site with more that just a "where is" answer -- we can welcome you aboard!
