I got this from a job site where a tree service came in and done some trimming for the home owner and also cut this one down - This came from the top of the trunk where the limbs started to branch out - The trunk had a big hole up the middle - Tell me what you think -

Turning wood can be counter intuitive in the ugly duckling sort of way. Some of the prettiest work comes from nasty looking (to most people) logs. Whenever Jack starts a post with "I wasn't sure I coud save this" or "I thought this might be too far gone", it's usually stunning, though Jack doing the turning has a lot to do with that. Anyway, it is certainly worth trying, IMO.

Yea, I was thinking about Jack when I seen the trunk cut - I said " I wish Jack was here so that he could make something out of this mess"
