An ideal piece would be a 6' long 2"x12" that was flat sawn right through the center of the pith. I am not sure who has 8/4 hickory around Raleigh in small quatities, that would let me pick through. I won't be at the picnic due to spring Y camp conflict, but if someone will have some there I could hopefully prevail on one of the other guys near me to get it for me. |
