Are there any exotics out there that are naturally bluish in color?

I saw a blue alien on Star Trek once, and she was pretty exotic!

Probably the closest thing I can think of off my head is Lignum vitae, but it is more green than blue. You can find some blue mineral staining in Poplar at times, and of course there is always the infamous and hard to find Denim Pine (aka Blue Stained Pine). Buckeye Burl often has a bluish-gray hue to it, also.
There are always dyes... your wood can be what ever color you want it to be

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

See, I knew DaveO would know, and that is the same as me knowing too.

Did I mis-read - do you want blush like Cherry or Lyptus, or blue?

I'm looking for Blue, so I'm guessing the dye is the best way to go.

Dave-O is right on the money, looks like dye is going to be your best bet. What kind of project are you doing where you need blue wood?
