Hi all I have a new system. Now days when someone comes here looking for "Cheap or free Lumber" I tell them you came to the right place, for $20.00 you can have all you can haul. Only condition is, you must leave with a full load. Then I send them out back to the tirekickers pile. Seems to get the point accross real well.

Randy,

I'm glad to hear that it's working out okay for you. A little patience and respect for yourself and your product will go a long way.

Thanks JimmyC, I figure it's tit for tat, insult for insult. Only I am not being insulting, thats just all I have for free or extra cheap. Also theres a wide variety of lumber in that pile.

Randy,

BryanS on this website has a line at the end of his his postings that I love,

"Never argue with an idiot, they'll just bring you down to their level and beat you with experience "

Your answer to them stops all arguements.

Randy,

I'm very glad to hear that things are on the up and up for you! Again, I have family and friends in Matthews. I will gladly send them your way if they need any wood.

Hi JimmyC, I just want to be treated as fairly as anybody else does. This is the only way I could come up with that doesn't cause me to say things I hadn't ought to. This way I'm not being a jerk, I'm just showing that I'm not as stupid as I apparently look.

Thanks Trent, I appreciate that.

Good move, Randy. You guys deserve to get fair prices for what you do just the same as every other business.

I used to sell wholesale hardware, and the old stores had a sign that read:

If you want nice, clean oats, they're one price. If you want oats that have already been through the horse, they're much cheaper!"

Nough said. Good luck.

There ya go, Randy. Tell 'em you have two types of lumber: "Good" and "cheap or free".

You guys are rotten, just plain rotten. Good for you! In the dentist office, they said they would like to see more often $$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Told them to come by the house anytime. End of conversation.

Jimmy I stole that line from a coworker. We were talking one night about things we had seen people do and he made that statement and I loved it. He said it came from someone he once worked for.

Randy I love it but you did'nt say if anyone had taken you up on that offer

Its useless to argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level then beat you with their experiance.
