Tuesday afternoon's storm saw a tree in my back yard get stuck by lightning. The only harm done was to the tree, which brings me to this limited offer: free wood for your fire, or your lathe. You cut & haul.

Re: Free Firewood/Lathe Wood

Hi Tom,

Looks like just one branch in the pic,, is there more and what type of wood is it?

Thanks,

David

That is the tree top on the ground. It is maple.

Re: Free Firewood/Lathe Wood

The little chainsaw that could; I cut up the limbs with my mighty 14" McCullough 3400. Moved is out of my yard, onto my 1/2 acre "wildlife preserve", then throughly raked the area where it fell, filling in four holes of the ankle-twister size.
