FedEx dropped this with me on Thursday, thought it was kind of odd that they didn't box them. They're 2 sets of 4.5" diameter Hand peeled Lodge Pole Pine logs, standing dead harvested from the Rocky Mountains in Montana. I haven't even unwrapped them yet cause I'm afraid to get them dirty!!! I'll post additional pics when I get them unwrapped.

I bought these since my attempts at cutting my own failed, another thread coming on that problem, and I needed something I was certain would work.

Glenn, good point!

For some reason I thought I had included that info. Seems I was recalling alluding to their use in my "cutting drawer openings" thread.

The longer ones (17.5") are going to be legs on a game table we're building and the shorter ones (13.25") are slated to be legs on a bench.

Sounds like cool projects, Brian. Can't wait to see the finished products.

So, I finally opened, prepped and put these to use. Here's what they looked like once opened.

Mounting blocks installed on one set.

I'll put a post up with the finished projects as soon as I get them off the camera, hopefully that'll be shortly.
