Does anybody know where I can get some 10 or 12/4 walnut. I need a few pieces to dress out at 2 1/2" X2 1/2" X 30". I plan to use them for cabriole legs for a tea table that I want to build. I've tried the usual suspects (Wall Lumber, East Wake and fleabay with no luck). I really didn't want to resort to gluing them up. Any ideas east of Raliegh or a company that will ship in small quanties?

There is a place just east of Kenansville that is supposed to have a good variety of domestic wood and very reasonable prices. I do not know the name of the business, but I can find out for you.

At Klingspor's Woodworking Shop in Raleigh, we have 16/4 walnut for $10.00 a board foot. Call the store at (919) 876-0707

Seems like I have a couple of 4"x4"x8' of walnut up in the Attic. I know I have several 6x6x 8' of walnut up there cause I keep knocking myself in the head with them, and they don't give
They were green when I put them up there. Not sure what the MC is now.
I might be willing to come off of 1 of the 4x4's.
