Super Tub to the Rescue

Last Saturday, a friend bought the used Delta Contractor's saw from Habitat for Humanity. The cast iron part of the top needed some rust removal. Rather than sanding / wire brushing, we decided to use the old battery charger trick. The problem was finding a container large enough to hold a 20" X 27" piece of cast iron. Today, in Lowes, I spotted a super Tub that is designed for mixing mortar in. Perfect size. Right now top is soaking and sweating rust off of it.

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

I apologize ahead of time, Roger, but my side is hurting from falling out of my chair laughing.

Thanks for posting the picture again Dave. I need to see it every 3-4 months or so to keep in good spirits.

That's just peachy, Dave
But I understand, it needed to be done. And I was the man for the job
It does evoke a sorta demented pride
