...with David Charlesworth
DVD from Lie Nielson
The highpoints, David Charlesworth continues with his approach he began in the outstanding 3 Hand Plane videos.
He is very detailed, consistent and great at explaining what and why.
Sadly, I felt the overall video came up short. Its not really a lot of new information. Its short in length and expensive to buy. He also repeated a lot of information about waterstones and flattening them from the Hand Plane Video.
I didn't find anything new that isn't addressed in a bevy of other videos on the same topic.
There is a second video on Chisel Techinque, which I plan to rent. Given the price, I had assumed this first DVD would contain chisel use, sadly its a full priced second disc.
Rented from Smartflix.com
Rating: 4 out of 10 biscuits
Thanks,
Jim
