Lots of us admire the Power Twist Link belt, which comes in any size you want, as long as it is a 1/2" wide belt. I have a Delta 10" tabletop drill press, and the pulleys measure a smidge under 3/8". The belt on the drillpress was the original (at least 10 yrs old), and was good for light duty only.

I gots meself one, took out about 6 links, and slipped it on. Powered up the drillpress to check that it would not pop off the pulleys. So far, so good. Drilled some relief holes in some 1/2" ply, and the drillpress's power was much better.

I gotta chuck up a Forstner bit sometime, and give it a whirl...

Tom thanks for the review. I wondered if those belts were worth the extra $$$. I guess we know.
