Something different

Trying to make some diamonds, there not easy

And I tried a different shape, just playing around seeing what can be done, or reather what i can do

the sides are not as thick as they look, its the way I made the ring on the top

Man Earl you are there. GREAT piece. The differnt woods really make it. The DS keeps calling me but so far the lack of time has kept it away but it is only a matter of time/

Very cool Earl... so how did you get the diamonds in there? Did you have to glue them to cut off corners first? Just once I'd like to see a pic where someone's LOTL snaps the shutter as the North Carolina Woodworker is trying to hold the piece and glue it together while in a Twister position and holding their breath. I'm with Mike...still trying to figure out how to glue things together.
