Hi, New to site and fairly new to woodturning. Started out last year with a cheapo lathe but recently got my PM 3520B and love it. Just wondering if you guys have set up a "support group" or specialized "section" of this site for owners like me, or do I have to just do lots of searches for info? Maybe you could direct me to some of the best threads. Thanks man/men!!

Re: PM 3520B support

I doubt there will be a special section for 3520B owners (I have one also) because getting this lathe usually solves way more problems than it creates. The problems you do continue to have are common to turnring, not the 3520B.
It has been my experinece that the biggest problem with 3520B owners is keeping them from constantly taunting everyone with incessant "nahh - nah-nah-naahh-nahhh!" We might consider a special section for that!

Re: PM 3520B support

My name is Bob and I'm a PM3520B owner... ("welcome Bob" said in unison by the rest of the support group)... . Actually, my wife would say she's the one that needs a support group.

But seriously, the turning forum is where many folks share turning projects and questions. If you have any questions about turning or about your incredible lathe , just post 'em there and you'll have more helpful information that you can shake a skew at! I've owned my PM3520B for about a year and I love it! If you would like to share experiences or need any help (not that I'm an expert), please shoot me a PM.

Before I forget, welcome to the site Gregg! You may want to shuffle over to the "Who we are" forum and introduce yourself so the whole group can get a chance to say howdy.

I think that most of the treads in regards to that lathe are people showcasing their fine work and gloating about what a nice lathe they have.
Some day I'll get to turn yellow, someday

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.
