Well I did it.Took the Harbor Freight lathe back today. The manager told me the refund would be in the mail in 5to7 days.Told he I had already put down a deposit on another one and needed the CASH.So he made it good. While I was there I told him about the problem I have on the CHEAPER HF lathe and I needed a main head shaft.I showed him the display model. He went and got the tools needed to take out the shaft. So I took the display apart right there on the sales floor.

And then I took off down the road to Woodcraft. They are out of the Rikon"waiting on the truck".But they will call me to come pick it up when it get's there.I wanted to besure to get the sale price so I went ahead and paid or it.Man I hope that truck drive is one of those that don;t believe in speed limits.
