I love the segmented one. I wish I could see the QS Sickymore better, I have a few blanks of that. Need the insipration to turn them

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

Dave, does this help?

It might have shown even more grain if I had cut it on the bias.

Re: My results today....

Yes, that's a much better pic. As I have been told on pen turning forums, if you're going to show a pen, and want critique, praise or what-not you need to show the pen so folks can see it. Great picture, you should shoot them all individually like that so they can be appreciated.
I've turned Lacewood (a real PITA) and it doesn't look much different than that, I am sure that was pretty easy to turn.

Great work! I like 'em all, but the sycamore is especially nice. Keep 'em coming.

Re: My results today....

Quite a productive day! I believe Eagle also suggested not only photographing each pen indificually, but not to include anything else in the photo so the focus is solely on the pen.

Re: My results today....

Nice looking pens there Dolan, you have been much more productive on the Good Will lathe than I was, obviously a deserving home.
