Hi everyone, I hope you are all doing fine, I wish I was there to see the colors change for the fall, we don't have that here in Hawaii.
Well this is a Milo goblet with a captive ring that I made, it was fun and very easy to make, if any are interested I can make a post with pictures and instructions on how to do it, enjoy the picture and aloha from Hawaii, by the way it is starting to get cold over here

it was in the lower 70's last night .

I've never done a captive ring, have always wanted to try one. Right now I'm in pen making mode for Christmas.

Hey Chris. Nice looking goblet. I like the Milo. Grain looks good and the captive ring is a nice touch.

Are your lip and gum recovered from the flying Koi yet? My thumb is still in a splint!

Sorry to hear about the "cold" weather. Don't let it give you the flu.

Re: Hawaiian Milo Goblet W captive ring

Hi guys, thanks for the comments, I am glad you folks like it, I will start making a photo tutorial for this and post it later on.
Hay Skeeter, the new hole in my mouth has all closed up and healed now, there is still a lump there and it tingles alot but it is getting better, my doc. said that it healed so fast because it was in my mouth, he said mout injuries heal fast, sorry your thum is still on the road to recovery, maybe you should think about sucking your thumb, that way it would be in your mouth and thus heal faster
Well I would'nt go that far but I hope it gets better soon, are you able to do any turning?
Aloha everyone.

Chris
