Crusader "cross"

I have a friend from another penturning site who asked for a blank with a "Knights Templar" shield .
The cross is bloodwood, the "Shield" is alternative Ivory and she supplied the cocobolo blank.

Not quite there yet.
I can see the bottom of the hill of the novice status but it is still a long way off.
