I made this for one of my pastors, I have a feeling I will be making more. I have been out of the shop for a couple of months between family problems and work I haven't had much time. It was nice to get back in there the other night.

Re: Alternate Ivory Cross Pen

Nice looking pen. I've wanted to do some pens similar for quite some time.

Makes me think of Eagle's pens and blanks. Loved, tolerated, or maybe not so much - he was an artisan. Always ready to encourage (urge/dare/goad lol) one to step up and embrace a challenge.
Thanks for posting.

Re: Alternate Ivory Cross Pen

Thanks guys.. I think I am going to try and figure out a way to do these on my own, the blank was more than the pen kit plus I will have the flexibility to make them custom. I may have to save up and get a pressure pot and all and build some forms finally..

Great job Kevin. I'm glad that you're back in the shop. The pen turned out very well.

Nice pen Kevin! I immediately thought of Eagle when I saw it. I miss him no matter how abrasive he may have been. He was a true artisan and is missed. Keep the interesting pen designs coming!
