Surgery Warning!!!!

I have found the the surgery is painful, recovery is slow, but if I don't soon get back to work I am gonna be BROKE. Things keep arriving on my doorstep by way of the brown truck. I am admitting to nothing and blaming it all on the pain medicine. Seems like I have way too much free time on my hands. So I feel that is my duty as a loyal member and friend to post this warning. If you have to be out of work due to surgery, HIDE THE COMPUTER!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Surgery Warning!!!!

It's nice when you can blame tool purchases on something or someone else isn't it?

CONGRATS on your purchases!!

Who woulda thunk that pain meds have a side effect that makes WGD flare up. Your sage advice is duly noted !!!

Re: Surgery Warning!!!!

Thanx for the warning but you're a little late . My Carpal Tunnel Release cost me much more than I expected , and insurance refuses to cover the extra costs

Think it would work if I submitted receipts and listed as Therapy?

Re: Surgery Warning!!!!

Tracy, looks like you are doing a great job reallocating the expenditure of funds from cigarettes to tools. Hope your recovery goes well.

Re: Surgery Warning!!!!

For someone who's just been through surgery and quit smoking, I think you're purchases are reasonably modest. So go buy more!

BTW, you SUCK!!! I need a new router table so bad..... That Bosch thing isn't half bad either.

Re: Surgery Warning!!!!

Surely there was a way, shy of surgery, to have made those purchases??

Cathy,
Surgery was his cover-up. Watchout he is going to have a relapse and will have to start all over again! We are going to have to get him well soon or the LOHL will. When WGD sets in on a woodworker it is a hopeless cure that goes on forever. It's called Terminal!

Re: Surgery Warning!!!!

Great scores Tracy!!!!! Will you be my doctor? That way you can diagnose my WGD as "much needed therapy." And if you can get my insurance company to pay for tool purchases......... well, I'd probably be "sick a lot." Much suckage on your new tools!
