so we are going to try and move to the beach

My Wife and I are going to try and move to the NC coast, Probably Emerald Isle. So I am going to be parting with all my woodworking tools. So stay tuned to the Classifieds for some Tools.

Re: so we are going to try and move to the beach

I envy your move. Emerald Isle is a beautiful place. We frequent Atlantic Beach for vacations & love it there. I don't envy your moving. I did that last year for the first time in 30 years. Didn't know I had so much junk stuff. Keep in touch.

Why can you move them with you???? You'll miss them if you let them go. No matter how much our tools frustrate us, we love them like our children...wait that is exactly like our children.

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

I could but I just dont want to. I wouldnt have anywhere to keep them and I could use the money for a business I am going to try and buy at the beach.

Re: so we are going to try and move to the beach

that makes some good sense! I wholly understand selling the tools to invest in a business. One might assume you are also selling the current lawn care business??? I must say that this is a rather exhorbitant step to get away from a tool of a neighbor.

Re: so we are going to try and move to the beach

we plan to keep the house here and rent it out. I have someone who will be working for me and keep running the landscape businness I will still make a little off of it. The busines at the coast is a once in a life time chance. If everything goes well I can have a house here and there. The neighbors will not even realize that we are going to be renting it out. it will be a furnished rental. Everything seems to be working out like its already been planned out for me.

Unless he beat it up, Jon will have a nice Delta 15" planer with a Shelix for sale.

Jon, so what are you going to be doing on Emerald Isle? The price of houses out there is outrageous, you must have hit the Power Ball!! Heck, non-waterfront lots are $150-200K+

Re: so we are going to try and move to the beach

Well, Bryan kind of beat me to the question, but... will there be room for visitors in your new home?????? I've never been to Emerald Island, but could be convinced. I know, I am bad. Some day I hope we get enough time to head to the coast for a vacation. Lots of folks along the way I'd like to visit. Sorry for the hijack - just made me think of the ocean.

Good luck with the move Jon. Maybe once you get settled in, we will give you 2 weeks, we can have Doug arrange a beach crawl.

Re: so we are going to try and move to the beach

Congratulations on the business move. With everything falling into place, it seems the planets are aligning for your success.

Got a 14" bandsaw and a small dust collector for sale? I have no shame , I want first dibs.

(I couldn't edit my reply above)

I am 20 minutes from Pfafftown, so if anyone scores something from Jon, and needs help loading or Pony-Expressing it, drop me a PM. Keep in mind, I have a Nissan Frontier for hauling, not a full-size truck.
