I've been watching another thread on ZI dust collection. Good info. NOW, what's anyone doing to collect the "stream" off a sliding miter saw?

I love my Bosch, but that sucker does throw some dust to the rear. If anyone has mastered the sliding/compound part, I'd sure like to see some pics. Right now I have a "portable dust hood" and clamp assembly that I have jury rigged, but it's not really a solution.

Here's a future option:

(notice the clean floor behind the saw when he cuts the flooring)

Rumors have it coming to the US this spring. I saw it in 2006 when in Germany and very little dust escapes when hooked up to a good shopvac. Sure it's going to be outrageously expensive but some of us will figure out how to fit it in.

I think that will cost less than two months on my house, after figuring in the second mortgage

Re: Sms Dust Collection

WOW what a saw, a true engineering marvel. Another item for my list on what to do with my Lottery winnings.
