Router table dust collection question

Got a question for those here who have built a router table.

I am coming pretty close to having a useful table built.
It is a hybrid Norm table that mounts into the fence guide for my Ridgid TS3650.
So far it seems to have come out ok.
I experimented with a few ideas that seems to have worked out pretty well and I will probably post pics this weekend.
(Keep in mind that the pics will be the table useable....still have a bottom drawer, plexi-door, etc to put in.)

Here is the question though...
I need to put in some dust collection.
Did everybody use PVC and if so...what size and type?
If PVC is not the best, then what is?
I will need 2 ports. I will need the larger port down where the router sits and a smaller port up on the fence.

Thanks for any tips...

Re: Router table dust collection question

Here's what I came up with. Four sided box from scrap plexi notched around fence to fit flush on table surface and sealed with silicone. Simple but very effective.Doesn't work for real wide stuff but I don't do much real wide stuff.

Re: Router table dust collection question

Mike I used standard flexible DC hose. I got a couple of attachment flanges and the hose at Klingspors. I have a 4" hose coming out of the back of the cabinet just below the level of the table. And I have a 2¼" hose coming off the back of the fence that couples to the 4" hose with a "Y" coupler. I get very good postive suction through both the bit opening in the fence and in the table...if I had a bigger DC it would be a lot better

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.
