Re: Recomendations for Mortiser

Its a done deal ---

Met Skysharks this afternoon, he now has a Delta Mortiser.

Many thanks to Papa Smurf for establishing and maintaining this web site.
Two NC woodworkers from different parts of the state met each other this afternoon, had some great conversations and exchanged some tools.

THIS SITE ROCKS !!!!

Re: Recomendations for Mortiser

I got the chisels from Woodworkers Supply in Graham. www.woodworkers.com. Item # 123-887. They list for $$25.25. Of course that is the "pro" discount cost. They have chisels ranging from 1/4" to 1" - 10 in all, but I only got the 3/8" for now.

Re: Recomendations for Mortiser

Thanks Pete for posting that pic.
Yep I got it home and started playing with it.
Man that is one quiet running machine.
I can see that you really would have to keep your chisels sharp.
I'll probably be looking for a set here shortly.

Thanks again Pete.
