New Mini Max Band saw and the mounting kit and fence for my Festool planer. Will use the band saw for making lumber found aroud the yard and the planer is for removing the unsightly saw marks left by the bigger jointer.

More tools, II

I tried to find a better quality photo this time.

The 8" Fein ROS I got on Amazon for about $460-it kicks boot and the set of Lie Nielson chisels from the store closing sale at Woodcraft.

Re: New Tools

David, I merged these three threads into one. So you could get one giant YOU SUCK for the whole lot.

If you put those pictures in your album and then attached the photos from there, you wouldn't be limited to how many could be put in the thread by using the "attachment" method, and would have had to only create one thread. Plus you could use those pictures again, if desired, and visitors could have the privilege of gawking at them in your album

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

Re: New Tools

SWEET!!!!

You really suck on getting some of the stuff out of the Woodcraft shop! I looked long and hard at those Lie Nielsen chisels, and just couldn't bite the bullet.

Glad they found a good home.

Have you got power to the bandsaw yet?

Re: New Tools

I have powered the saw. I had to put a sub-panel in the garage with a 220 and 3-110 circuits-electrical is expensive and took many trips to the 2 home centers. I will hopefully get the blade on today. I bought a 6" Makita power planer on Craigs' List and I am using that to flatten logs so I can run them accross the band saw.

The saw is well built, no vibration and the motor sounds nice.

Re: New Tools

It is strange you don't get a single blade with the saw. I ordered the carbide up front and it took a week to get it after I got the saw.
