Obviously the builder of this jig has never heard of the adage "simpler is better"

Seems to me every "tool" could be referred to as a "pocket hole" jig. Makes me feel like there's a hole in my pocket every time.

Don,

I think you've found the real meaning of the title 'pocket hole'.

Re: My kind of pocket hole jig . . .

Kregg used to make a conversion kit for the A-2 jig. Air clamp, and supported bit assembly. So this is nothing new. If you have an A-2, don't you hate reaching around behind a panel to clamp the jig in place? Rest assured that the problem has been solved, and I don't mean buy a K-3 either. Look for details at the picnic.

I'll bite. I have the A-2 (without the pneumatics pictured above) and yes, I hate having to reach around a panel. How about a hint??

Re: My kind of pocket hole jig . . .

If you hate reaching around behind the panel, you could get some of Dave O's shop elves to help, or come to the picnic and see my solution. WARNING- anyone seeing my solution, please don't discuss it with anyone. Awaiting possible publication, but too good to just sit on. Bruce
