Seems to me every "tool" could be referred to as a "pocket hole" jig. Makes me feel like there's a hole in my pocket every time.

Kregg used to make a conversion kit for the A-2 jig. Air clamp, and supported bit assembly. So this is nothing new. If you have an A-2, don't you hate reaching around behind a panel to clamp the jig in place? Rest assured that the problem has been solved, and I don't mean buy a K-3 either. Look for details at the picnic.

I'll bite. I have the A-2 (without the pneumatics pictured above) and yes, I hate having to reach around a panel. How about a hint??

Wife changed my perspective.  I need want some additional tools. I need want a
multi-spindle line borer - unlikely in 2008
pocket hole machine - unlikely in 2008
Festool sander and vacuum -told I don't need 2 not going to happen
Edge bander - unlikely this decade
oscillating edge sander - unlikely in 2008
floor model chisel or slot mortiser - unlikely in 2008
and a bigger shop - maybe in 2009

If you hate reaching around behind the panel, you could get some of Dave O's shop elves to help, or come to the picnic and see my solution. WARNING- anyone seeing my solution, please don't discuss it with anyone. Awaiting possible publication, but too good to just sit on. Bruce
