Smile Little tool gloat

Stopped by Lowe's today for regular weekend visit, and noticed that they were having a 15% off sale on all power tools. I really didn't need anything that they offer, but made the mistake of walking by the Bosch Colt router and saw a sign offering a free router bit with purchase. I checked out what they had to offer, and found that most of the bits were in the $25 range. Free $25 bit + 15% off of a tool that I don't need but have coveted was more than I could resist. Happy Birthday to me
Proof in picture - Bosch Colt var. speed + 1/4" carbide up spiral straight bit = little tool gloat @ $100 + tax

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

You'll enjoy that little Colt, DaveO. I am sure. Great for hinge mortise's, roundovers and shallow dado's.

Great price too!

No I ended up getting a little more tool $$$$, and I think that the sander I have decided on won't cost as much as originally planned.

I am thinking really hard at going with the Ridgid. After seeing and using my FIL's, and my current disk/belt set-up switch messing up again. I think that will fit my needs better than just a OSS alone. And the price is in my budget (as long as I stay out of Lowe's until I buy it)

Dave
I picked one up on Friday with some of my B'Day money. Haven/t really given it a workout yet. One thing that I did notice is that it is really easy to convert from belt to spindle and everything was aligned well (table to spindle/belt) right out of the box. The thing that pushed me over the edge was the $35 instant rebate going on now along with my accumulated gift cards!

I think that you will like it!
