I have wanted to learn how to use a router table. I have a small table top model but it was really hard to get square and harder the get it to stay square. I ran across a Hawk Router Table System on Craig's List. I went to look at it today and I liked it - although I don't know much about router tables! I like how it folds to 90 degrees and how the fence is fixed and the router moves. I wound up getting the table and accessories and the Bosch 1617EVS router and accessories for $312 bucks. I suspect this was a pretty good deal? It is pouring the rain so no pics - I'll post some when I can get it out of the truck.

Here is a pic from the web:

Re: Good Deal???

So is that the one that you can use horizontally and vertically? What kind of top does it have?

Re: Good Deal???

Yes, it can be used horizontally & vertically. It has a steel top. I am looking forward to trying it out this afternoon.

Re: Good Deal???

Then, yes, I would say you got a pretty good deal. I had a Rebel steel top router table that I paid around $300 for by itself, and it didn't tilt.

Nice score!
