Maybe I can take a month's vacation sometime and just go "ZZ Top" for a while and see how that looks (insert very long bearded smiley face here).

So those razors are for your legs
The main reason I have a beard is that I get razor burn so bad that I can only shave once a week (on Saturdays so I can recover before the work week). Working outside in NC humidity tears me up. So I figured that if I only shave once a week, I may as well go with it. My trimmer shaves the areas that I don't want the beard to be close enough, but without the burn of a razor.
I have never understood folks with highly sculptured facial hair. It seems like that would be even more difficult than just shaving it all off. Or just go full blown caveman

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

Beards and tools...what can we do with this....

How about you have to shave your beard off whenever you buy a new tool, and let it grow until you do. Minor tools (router bits, clamps) just require a trim.

We'd be clean shaven all the time

I pretty much have to shave or look like an idiot (well; nothing guarantees I won't ).

I am closing on 50 and still don't have to shave every day and it comes in uneven if I let it go. One of my sideburns is shaped like Florida and the other one looks like Idaho. I have let it go a month before and can still clean it up with a razor in one pass. The 5 bladed razors are major overkill for me; the first two are the only ones than get dull. The others just die of boredom.

Nahhh... no leg shaving here. I shave from a few inches below the jaw down. It takes about ten seconds in comparison to a few minutes of shaving one's entire face (very early in the morning). MUCH time saved!

Yep, you know, having a beard really saves a lot of time shaving.

Nahhh..... a few inches below the jaw to a few inches below that. That's all the shaving I can handle.
