Yesterday I took a trip up to Pfafftown and met jtodd71 (also known as Jon) and picked up an awesome Dewalt 735 planer. Thank you Jon!!!

He also gave me the nickel tour of his shop and we talked for a while about dust collection, air filters and of course his new 15" planer. What a nice piece of equipment. I couldn't believe how quiet it was. The purchase of this planer is going to force me to get my dust collector set up so I don't cover the yard and cars with chips from the new planer.

Pics will follow today once I can get it out of the back of the truck.

Maybe this thread should be retitled- the good luck planer. It seems all who have owned it soon got a bigger/ better planer. Awaiting another planer gloat from current owner.
