CL ad said FREE. Saw has been sitting outside. Got home with it & found some extra goodies in the drawers. Anybody got any idea what the 2 drill jigs are for?

Found these too!

Yep. He had some 'free' lumber too. Mostly rough sawn SYP rafters & joists from the house remodel. Looked like he was just trying to get extra dumpster space on those, though. Too many nails to try & dress out.

I thought when I saw it on cl it would be worth looking at, but being in Salisbury I figured it was too much of a chance. Congratulations on the score, I am glad to see a North Carolina Woodworker member got it.

The 3rd pic,top item...
It's a router fence.Looks VERY similar (but also very crude) to a fence I have from a mid 90's Dewalt plunge router. So perhaps it's from an older one.Dewalt was already acquired by B&D by this time,so perhaps it is even an old B&D fence.

Free is good, I agree. The three jigs are interesting. Top one is a router edge guide with a micro-adjuster on it. The middle and bottom jigs are more perplexing. The two appear very similar (two sizes) and the middle one looks like it has depth stops on the pair of fingers that are missing on the lower one (but I think they are mounted backwards). After I studied them again, I'm going to guess that they are doweling jigs. There is a small thumb screw clamp at the right end of the lower one that holds the stock vertically over the center of the fingers-- the fingers are moved to the desired position to drill the holes from the other side. Stops are adjusted to hold the board to its center. The fourth picture shows a nearly complete Porter-Cable brass router guide set.

You ROCK. You did the person a favor, and the wild guess paid dividends.

Maybe the jigs are drilling jigs for cabinet hardware?

Hey Dennis,

That really rocks... all the more so given the price. Free is definitely my favorite price.

Phil beat me to the punch, I have the upgrade kit waiting to be installed on my old RAS. The best part is the table, guard, etc. is keeping with the price structure you used for the saw FREE !!!!

Nice Catch,

Free is always good, and as long as you have the room, a RS is a great addition. I love mine.
