Festool to replace Ryobi and Black and Decker lines at Home Depot

Happy April 1st.

It's the best I could come up with on short notice. I'm sure Bas has something better!

And I hear that they will be following B&D quality standards.

So, does that mean B&D prices went up today? I knew I should have gone and bought some yesterday....

Re: Festool to replace Ryobi and Black and Decker lines at Home Depot

" B & D Quality Standards "....isn't that an oxymoron?

I built B & D 1/2" drills and weed whackers for a while one summer.... and I learned to love the BWM method for freeing up a frozen gear box.

1. lay the tool down on lightly padded bench.
2. Plug in tool and squeeze trigger.
3. If tool does not turn - apply Big Wooden Mallet to side of Gear Box until tool begins to turn.
4. Disconnect tool from power source and send to packaging.

Funny thing is, they built all the DeWalt tools on the other side of the building.
But the plant in Fayetteville is now long closed down.

It's okay, at 50% I still couldn't afford it.
