Re: Benchtop Belt/Disk Sander recommendation

We have one of the Rigid OSS and it is my favorite tool in the shop! I use it to shape my boat paddles and Allen uses it to sand the edges of stuff he makes. It is a very agressive sander though and sometimes small pieces will be ripped from your hands and shot through the shop. A friend of mine carves shore birds and it was too agressive for him so he gave it to us, but for the boat paddles it is ideal. I rarely ever use anything other than the flat belt but have shaped birds using the spindles. All and all a pretty cool tool!
