A month or so ago I posted about a problem with my ShopFox dust collector. Thanks to all who responded. Scott Smith suggested I contact a member close by who understood how these things worked. GOOD ADVICE - Thanks Scott.

Alan in Little Washington to the rescue. It took him all of 10 minutes to figure it out. Turns out it was a wiring problem in the switch. It seems the new switch looked like the old switch, at least to someone as electrically disadvantaged as me, but was actually different.

Is there nothing that Alan doesn't know how to do? My advice to all who have any problem, of any type, on any machine - move to Chocowinity so you can live near Alan.

Many thanks Alan.

Ernie

Ernie - thanks for your note and Kudo's to Alan for figuring out your gremlin! Glad that you got things back up and running.
