Hey friends I was wondering if anyone knows of a source for 88in bandsaw blades. If im right it is a german size for blades. I could get purchase them from overseas but would like to have a source in the states. Thanks for your help.

Just call Woodcraft Bands and tell 'em you want an 88" blade! They make them whatever size you want.

These are the only blades I have used, so I can't offer much in the way of a comparison. He sells Lenox bimetal blades, which I think are good quality. Give them a call and tell them what you want to do, and they will fix you up with the proper blade for the job.
