14" Grizzly Band Saw Gloat with Pics

Well the story kind of goes like this.
Our Dear Michael Garner was in a need for a few Items that we help him out with.
He got a good deal on a ceramic top stove/oven from me.
Well I ended up buying a 14" Grizzly Band Saw from him.

Sorry about the picture my hands were shaking.

So like everything, or so my LOML tells me, I researched this beast.
And I found some cool stuff.
Like a 6" riser block.

this shows the block added. Yeah I know I suck at taking pictures.

Then of course I had to add:

Oh but I was not done yet. I hate having to mess with those guide blocks so I put on these to the upper and lower:

the Carter conversion kit. Man oh man what a difference.

Oh so stay tuned I aint done yet.

But I will say this, getting those wheels back into coplane was a bugger.
I wish I had of had some help, man handling the top section.
But I'm happy. I WILL be doing some resawing for sure.

Mac, let me know how you like those Carter guides. My Griz has roller bearings, and I have considered changing them out to the Cool Blocks. I would be interested in knowing how the Carter guides do with narrow blades. My saw does great, but I would love more support with the smaller bands used for scroll work.
Oh, yea....YOU SUCK, in the best way

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.
